Hi guys,
I need to work on a scientific textbook and would really like to use Publisher for it. However, I don't know how to write or import math equations. The only way I managed to do it was to create a screenshot of my equations in Microsoft Word and then place the equations into Publisher as images. However, this is resulting in a pretty bad quality.
I really would prefer using Publisher. But if this isn't possible, I have to switch to InDesign. I'd be very happy about your help. Thanks in advance!

Export as HTML based on styles will be extremely useful and will give an extended dimension to all the Affinity Suite.

The InDesign feature I use most—weirdly—is the INDB book feature, where InDesign creates a container file of sorts to hold a pile of individual InD files that make up an entire book, as well as manage their page numbers. Being able to manage chapters individually is vastly easier than working on a 300+ page single file. Would love to see this implemented—or something like it. 

Vital. Maybe streamlined, customized HTML based on styles (and CSS).

I have set up a document with bleed and designed master pages so that photos are larger than page size for printing and cropping.
However, when I export for print, those bleeds do not show (photo is cut exactly to the crop marks). (See two attached JPGs)
However, when I move those photos from master pages to individual pages, bleed is exported. Am I missing something or is this a beta-version bug?

Looking really good already!
It would be amazing to be able to make interactive ebooks with small embedded videos/sound clips and animations as well as linked Vimeo/Youtube.
Having that on an iPad would be fantastic.
Even if a user has the ebook we could still update the linked Vimeo video.

Was thinking the same... Just comparing some of the features in PagePlus9 and noticed epub(3) export was missing.
also looking at kindle KDP, they recommend due to artefacts sometimes in PDF's imported, they recommend using epub import files in kindle create if the publishing tool exports to epub, word also another option.
need ebook: google (play)/Apple (itunes)/amazon (kindle) supportable export formats.. even Word.
A lot of self publishers will be expecting good ebook support formats, not just PDF.
it just looks like designer without the page document options... was expecting it to be different for publications.
One big thing that is missing is the Publication Types: small, medium, etc . a lot clearer in PagePlus.... just need to add a new publication setup wizard for these features.

I'd love to see Publisher export to eBook ready formats. Is that on the roadmap?

If the object you want to move over the other has a high number of nodes you can select it first, then press ⌘ (cmd) + A to select all its nodes (CTRL + A if you are using Windows), then press and hold shift and click the second object to add it to the selection without selecting any nodes from the second object (otherwise all nodes from both objects will move when you drag the first object).

Just imagine some ideas, it might be part of the export persona; with full editable properties like author, tittle, description, copyright, etc...

I've just made an animated GIF to explain a comment in this forum and I realised how simple it is to do in PhotoShop. Unfortunately... I had to go to PhotoShop to do it.
 
I know animated GIFs probably fall into the animation category, but it would be great to able to export layers as frames in the same way Illustrator does when it exports an animated SVG. No massive feature set, just a few simple settings at export stage.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Lightroom is not a photo editor but a RAW developer. It's editing tools are not up to what Photoshop offers. Affinity Photo is both a RAW developer and photo editor.
We already announced plans for an Affinity DAM software which will work seamlessly with Affinity Photo.

Would like to see text wrapping around photos as well.

We really need that Wrap feature in Photo and Designer. Thanks for making an alternative apps :)

Please add to Designer!  It's a key part of my flyer design work.

I would also like to see a text wrapping feature in Affinity Designer!
 
I'm attempting to create a logo for some clothing tags and the feature is not available. 

Definitely think that Text Wrapping needs to be in Designer, too. 
 
It is vital for use with flyers and advertisements, which is a huge part of the work flow of most pro designers. 

The option to display 100% full screen when pressing the TAB key.
Right now, the menu displays at the top.
 
Photoshop has this as one of its modes when pressing the F key.

I think Designer is great. I often design icons though, where I would produce the same or similar image at a variety of resolutions.
 
It would be good on the Export persona if you could define a slice and also assign an output pixel dimension to it, e.g. 32x32, and then if the pixel preview would also reflect that would be great.
 
At the moment I realise that I could just duplicate the object in question and resize it to the required pixel dimension, but it would be better if I could have just the one item with different export profiles, duplicating it only for those resolutions that would benefit from some extra changes.

I would also love to have a photo manager from Affinity. Adobe bridge doesn't show thumbnails of affinity, and I don't think they will fix that soon.
 
Certainly a DAM is a good option, and I would like to have an hybrid like this:
The speed and work flow of photo mechanic (ingest, catalog, export and share really fast with color flags), and the keynote option. Bridge tools. Apple Photos (the timeline between years, months, days, events to preview really fast; and the face recognition), only that, the rest is awful in this app. The less time you take importing and converting for bulk development, making a catalog, exporting for different sizes and qualities options in bulk and even adding watermarks, etc, the more you will be enjoying taking photos and perhaps making money with it. I will be more than glad to but this solution from Affinity.
