jarcon Posted June 20, 2018 Posted June 20, 2018 Sometimes you require to align the nodes of shapes which it's nodes are not in the corner of the shape (see image 1), and it will be great if this can be done without modifying the shape to be align. I imagine that in the future this could be done in a new node option, in the alignment button (Image 1 and 2). If this can be already done, I would be more than happy to learn that. Thank you again for this amazing software! Quote
Staff MEB Posted June 20, 2018 Staff Posted June 20, 2018 Hi jarcon, If you only need to snap them precisely you can use a local snapping setting to do it. Check the clip below. TonyO 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software

Staff MEB Posted June 20, 2018 Staff Posted June 20, 2018 Hi jarcon, If the object you want to move over the other has a high number of nodes you can select it first, then press ⌘ (cmd) + A to select all its nodes (CTRL + A if you are using Windows), then press and hold shift and click the second object to add it to the selection without selecting any nodes from the second object (otherwise all nodes from both objects will move when you drag the first object). jarcon 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
