  1. I'd love to see Publisher export to eBook ready formats. Is that on the roadmap?

    Mystery of the Hidden Layer

If it prompts for save to a afphoto file it means there will be something in the layer structure that a TIF might not be compatible with so we prompt for afphoto to keep the layer structure. Are you able to provide one of the tifs that is causing the issue for you? I'll try to send one next time. The problem is once it gets in that state, I either have to save as an afphoto file or close without saving. That makes it impossible to send you the TIF once it gets in that state.

    Mystery of the Hidden Layer

I often export my Affinity Photo image as a TIF. Additionally, I often work on the TIF and save the TIF from time to time as I'm working. Occasionally, hitting Save will force me to save in the AP format. For awhile I couldn't figure out why. Now, I believe I have a handle on it. Often I open AP-created TIFs in Photoshop and sometimes when I try to save, I get the prompt telling me that saving a TIF with layers will create a larger file. Looking at the layers panel, I see only one layer, but if I flatten the image anyway, it saves without the prompt. Through trial-and-error, I've found that these are also the TIF files that want to save in AP-format in Affinity Photo. In Photoshop, the problem is due to the single layer not being set as the Background Layer. In Affinity Photo, since it cannot save TIFs with multiple layers, the app should at least prompt to convert the layer to the background instead of forcing us to save the file in a different format.
  4. Interesting. So if I export all and delete all, I can then import them in the right order?
  5. Can we get the ability to make our list of Brush Categories in Affinity Photo sort alphabetically? It would also be nice to have sub-categories or tags to better organize our libraries.
  6. Is there any way to make my list of Brush Categories in Affinity Photo sort alphabetically?

    custom brush panels

I've been working this week importing my extensive brush collection from Photoshop, and this process has really been a pain. Not only do we need tagging or maybe brush sub-categories and/or individual brush naming, we should also be able to do simple things like multi-selecting brushes when moving from one category to another or being able to reorder the category list. That reminds me: is there some way to at least get my list of brush categories to appear in alphabetical order?
  8. Thanks, MEB. I thought the release was originally projected for Easter, so I thought we would at least be close to a beta release by now. Are we not?
  9. Where can we get a definitive list of which features will be in 1.6?
  10. They're not sure yet, Chintan. Thanks, Nezumi.
  11. I know folks are excited about the new Light theme in the Affinity 1.6 release, but I'm wondering what new features we can expect to see in Affinity Photo 1.6? I've seen the very long road maps lists, but is there a definitive list somewhere of which will be included with 1.6? Thanks in advance!

Thanks! Your work is much appreciated, smadell.
