  1. I tend not to use bitmap fills so no use to me. A preference would be far more suitable.
  2. Thanks haakoo. I hadn't noticed that. The previous default behaviour was that it was off, I wonder why the change?
  3. Hi, I'm unable to create true elliptical fills - the fill tool is being constrained to circular as both outer nodes move together instead of independently.
  4. I've created several drawings in AD and added a black & white adjustment layer to each file. They place perfectly in AD (both release and beta version) - see screenshot 1. Problem 1: When I export as PDF they ignore the B&W adjustment and show in colour - see screenshot 2. Problem 2: If I add a B&W adjustment layer to the Publisher file they export as B&W but the clipping masks in the Designer files are ignored - see screenshot 3 Both problems are present in the retail and beta versions.
  5. As far as I'm aware, the beta version does not automatically update, we have to download the latest version when it is released. To ensure we know about the latest release we can add our names to the email list by subscribing: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/notifications/&do=follow&follow_app=forums&follow_area=topic&follow_id=83299 Hope this helps
  6. Yes, my daughter's boyfriend had never seen an image of Steve McQueen - not seen Bullitt, The Great Escape, Towering Inferno, The Getaway etc. etc. We'll have to educate them!
  7. Thanks Matt, I couldn't have done this without you and your sterling team providing the best software Where's the trophy emoji???
  8. My wife wants to write in her blog website about Steve McQueen. Problem: All the best photos of Steve McQueen are copyright. "No problem," I said, "I'll draw him for you..." Out came Affinity Designer... Problem Solved!
