Windows File Explorer can do this. It would be nice if a Serif tool can do that without any limitations. One option could be work at exif informations additional or a slideshow with this files. If I want to know what's in the afph I have to save for example as a JPG to know what's in it. I can't understand that serif relies on system file explorer. A Picture Explorer would bring Affinity tools to the next level. My opinion.

Export filenames

It is that I miss s well. If you merge some single shots to HRD together it would be nice if Affinity photo suggest an name depending of the single names like 2001, 2002,2003... .afphoto. When I safe the HDR files sometimes I have issues to find the source files in a large folder again. -
AMD Radeon RX Hardware Acceleration
Photo amateur replied to Mark Ingram's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
Not nice that the hardware acceleration with update 1.10.3 still doesn't work with my AMD Radeon RX 5700XT. I hope you can get it under control one day. Obviously, the focus depends on it. After the RAW development, the sharpness is out of the picture again. -

AMD released the driver update 21.4.1. Does Serif have news about that the issues with Open GL are fixed? If that were the case, Serif could re-enable the hardware acceleration for Radean graphics cards with an update or a patch. -
Thank you very much danyg9!

Hopefully AMD will solve the problem with their drivers soon and that the hardware acceleration can be activated again with the next update. -

AMD Radeon RX Performance Problems

Hi Mark, I hope that the 1.9.1 update will reliably fix the problem. I also hope that AMD will quickly fix the driver problems with Open CL. -
Really slow performance after updating to 1.9
Photo amateur replied to Venyer's topic in V1 Bugs found on Windows
@Mark Ingram how long does it approximately take to solve the Open CL bug? Obviously a lot of functions are depending on Open Cl. The Focus staking for example does not run with disabled Open CL. I want to downgrade my Affinity Photo till the issue is fixed. Could you publish a hidden download link to the former version? -

I have the same issues. Affinity don't to work well together with my AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT GPU. I switched off the hardware acceleration. So it works bit better. But makes no sense. The released version may be not tested enough before publishing. Serif, that was not a good chess move. Changes. Attached the logfile, benchmark test Affinity Photo Based, Deep Benchmark Log File Log.txt My Hardware.LOG -
The Update to Infinity Photo 1.9 increased the loading time of my documents especially RAW files takes much longer. It takes so long that the loading ring pops up. The massage of no response in shown. In the version 1.8 the loading was much quicker. The program runs all in all slower as the former version did. Opening the adjustment panel Levels for example takes felt longer. Affinity Photo runs less fluent as before. Wath's wrong? My System is same as before. Serif have to work on at V1.9.
