Is it possible somewhere to set a default Layer name, such as everytime a new layer is created it's titled [APUB] for example.

Enhancement.???? It’s a fundamental operation. If you can’t see the assets you can’t use them. I’ve been moaning about this for ages.
along with importing palettes.

1. The ability to import and save colour palettes.
2. A plain white background in the Assets panel so I can actually clearly see the assets. Some are ok, but some are invisible. Black on black background. Perhaps the ability to List them as well as display icons on the iPad..

Ok, found it.
Same on both systems, apart from size.
The old one - the one I want. 12kb, the new install, 2kb.
/Users/robertchalmers/Library/Application Support/Affinity Publisher/user/doc_spread_presets.propcol
I replaced the new install with the old protocol file from the original, and there's my preset layouts.

expand strokes in the Command menu
See in the layers pane...

oh wait, I found it in ipad too now, it was in options -> expand strokes, just as you said. : D Thanks again ! 

Thanks, interesting information. I’m sure Serif is looking into it. I’ll look at it again myself of course because it’s a great idea. 
My comment about starting with a palette actually would work for some. But of course isn’t the answer for everyone.

Hi, yes, in this case though, all the assets are there, it's just not possible to see the ones that are black or gray.

Yes the same here Assets not showing on 1.9 Affinity Photo ipad. But on my Affinity Designer ipad 1.9 its working fine you can the free assets. Need a fix on this.

I hope that Serif can come up with something that will help you. (Well, us, really. I have a similar issue with other assets, but at least List Mode helps a bit.)

SV2 is a very good and fast one for Macs, I've once reviewed and compared a bunch of those tracing tools. SV2 offers more and better color quantization than previous older SV versions, it also offers outline and center line tracing, which can be useful to have at times.
