postmadesign
absolutely agree on this. This is one of the most powerful features of illustrator. It would give more control over the actions I want to duplicate: how many copies, exact degree of rotation, exact distance. Also would be great to be able to scale and/or rotate each instance by a specific percentage. A random option like AI offers would also be welcome. MickRose
A grid step & repeat would be very useful too. Windows 10 Pro, I5 3.3G PC 16G RAM
firstdefence
Liking the idea's people, a colour shift would also be cool, like a hue setting, tint setting or based on a palette maybe. Definitely a preset option. iMac 27" 2019 Somona 14.3.1, iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more... Very cool, but I agree a panel would be a welcome addition, and the features mentioned here would be terrific. Frank Jonen
Absolutely. The current approach is extremely imprecise. It needs a way to control the offsets properly. I was hoping this would come with the clone/step&repeat tool though.
