Phojoegraphy
Is there a way to import color swatches from Designer on Mac to Designer on iPad? I tried AirDropping the swatch file and also to load through Dropbox but don't see an import area like for brushes. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help. gdenby
Hi, Phojoegraphy, I was able to air drop a swatch file, and the swatch file showed up in the "files" window. But nothing showed up that I could find in the swatches. Then I air dropped a file w. a document swatch. I had to close the current opened document, and then the file came thru. At this point, I have at least the document swatch file. Gotta go do something else, but try closing any open document, like a blank canvas, which seems to drop it from the file list, and then receive an air drop. Staff Lee D Posted July 12, 2018 Staff Share Posted July 12, 2018 The ability to import a colour palette isn't available at this time, however a file with an document palette will show. headwrong
It'd be super handy if Application Palettes sync'd between desktop and iPad in the future. Robert Hansford and MBoss
Chaoswolf
Ich verstehe das nicht, dass wurde doch schon bei Affinity Photo kritisiert.... Das ist ein essentielles Feature, wenn man dual arbeiten will. Sonst muss man doch alles doppelt machen. I do not understand that, but it was already criticized at Affinity Photo .... This is an essential feature, if you want to work dual. Otherwise you have to do everything twice. Plumspot
CraigD
I just wanted to bump this. It seems to me this should be high on the list of priority feature (for both AP and AD). Importing swatches is really critical for a lot of us. iuli, BobsDaubs and DM1
iuli
Sorry for bumping this, but after an hour of manually putting swatches back into Designer I feel the need to reiterate that missing the ability to import/export swatches is a huge issue; this is an essential feature that should not miss even in the early stages of any graphic software, vector or not. Please bring it to iPad because without it the app (otherwise amazing) is incomplete. DelTorro
The iPad is the future and so is Affinity but i do hope they polish things like this a little bit more. More and more people want to go away from competition but its the small things that make a app great so i hope they iron these bugs out. iuli and BobsDaubs
Agypsy
This would be so handy, as I work on both and at times the iPad is just so much more convenient. BobsDaubs
ypixels
It would be very helpful to hand off a palette created on desktop to iPad.
