I was going to simplify it but changed my mind. Have only finished the bottom left and top right of those windows. Still quite a few books window to redraw too. Who knew that bookshops had so many books! Back to using AD v1 as it's just nicer in a number of ways and as my requirements are simple it's no loss.

Thanks Mark. Finished the main windows, have a couple of book covers still to do, they're pesky ones though although none are done perfectly, not that it's obvious when they're a small part of the overall image.

Early in the week I thought I might finish over the weekend but at this rate that's not going to happen. I'll get there though. Perhaps I'm wrong but buildings don't generally seem to impress anyone.

Depends highly on the degree of realism, so if you can look ("Through the looking Glass - Alice in Wonderland) and discover a bunch of things there, like palms, shelves/furniture, lamps, many books, brick doorways ... and so on.

Weekend update. Finished the book covers and the door windows insides/reflections. Have some text to do on the window stickers sometime. Working on the first floor window reflections then on to the brickwork.

Thank-you. I did add the text last night. On to the complicated/more fiddly parts now.

I've done as much as I'm going to. I was going to try and do the brickwork as close to real as possible but it was going to be a ton of work, bad condition bricks plastered over in places too, so I chickened out and simplified it. Think it still looks OK'ish.

you can use a mask to paint in a wall with damaged bricks:)

I know but that's not vector and still wouldn't look exactly the same.

Perhaps just stick with the original and keep it a painted white wall. It'll work nicer with the teal.

Wow! Is the whole picture done in Designer with vectors? That's madness (in a good way)!
