That is quite possible, yes. Sorry, I forgot to mention that I work with a Mac :)

Well, it's a workaround ... and it doesn't work (at least not for me). Photo Beta 2.2.1931 and Retail version 2.1.1 - Sorry.
Kind regards
Puck

This affects all Live Filters with a Preserve Alpha option as mentioned above both in the Retail Version 2.1.1 and the current Beta 2.2.0 (1931). The suggested workaround works as described for me...

Affinity Designer 2.4.2 | Affinity Photo 2.4.2 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.2
Affinity Designer  Beta 2.5.0 (2415) | Affinity Photo Beta 2.5.0 (2415) | Affinity Publisher Beta 2.5.0 (2415)

Affinity Designer 1.7.3 | Affinity Photo 1.7.3 | Affinity Publisher 1.10.8

They should know, because the Serif Info Bot has not posted here to say it was fixed.

The issue "[macOS] Preserve Alpha box and label vanishes after calling dialog a 2nd time" (REF: AF-61) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2083".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
Customer beta builds are announced here and you can participate by following these instructions.
If you still experience this problem once you are using that build version (or later) please reply to this thread including @Serif Info Bot to notify us.
