There is even a 'cat unit' that can be used in some numeric text entry fields -- for example, try selecting some object & in the Transform panel set the width or height to "1 cat." :)

Since this is about cats that appear on Friday the 13th, 'cat units,' & so on, I am going to use that as an excuse to tell you a bit about a most extraordinary cat:

Charlie was a black cat born a few minutes before midnight on a Friday the 13th, the first of our momma cat's first & only litter. All his litter mates were born after midnight & none were black. He had an unusually long torso, so long that as an adult he would stand on his hind legs & place his front paws on the top of the kitchen counter (34" above floor level) to watch my mom open his cans of cat food at dinner time.

Fully extended, from the tips of his back paws to the tips of his front ones spanned 38 inches, considerably longer than 1 cat unit (about 28 inches). :206_cat:
