Hey! Just wanted to get answer to this simple question, as there is a 20% discount now and I don't wanna miss it. If you buy any Affinity product after the trial, is it linked to you somehow? Maybe through an email or something? Or is it just linked to the PC? I am asking this because I plan on getting a new one soon and I certainly don't wanna buy Affinity license twice. Thanks in advance.

Here is my latest Affinity Publisher effort. A poem called Leela. Exported as a PNG. The title was created in PagePlus X9 and exported as a 32 bit PNG. One of the features Affinity Publisher lacks is this sort of font filled effect so I have to cheat a little. I hope you like it ...

Hello! Not sure if it's a bug or me not understanding how it works, but I have an unexpected behaviour when I try to add a shape (in this case it's a text frame (shape converted as a text frame) that I can add to the assets panel by "add from selection" but refuses to be added by drag and drop. The shape moves" behind" the panel instead. All the windows (studio panels and canvas) are docked. I have even recorded a small video! Maybe I misunderstood the help files though.... Assets.avi

Hello, I received an email from Serif about Affinity Publisher, I would just like to get an overview of what it can do. I've had an enquiry for some A5 and try-fold leaflets set up in black and 1 spot colour so thought I'd run a few test in Publisher and just made a quick screen vid capturing Affinity's amazing flexibility - I remember having a go in Designer around two years ago and having to give up - just shows how things have improved - would still love to be able to use masks so as to get soft edges on some things (spots always seems to turn out CMYK with a mask in my tests) but I'm really chuffed that it all separates correctly Spot.mov

I haven't scanned if this has yet to be stated, but the Bundle Page on the App Store shows the Publisher status non-purchased for those of us who bought the 20% off deal. I assume this gets remedied when and App Store update on Publisher is to be found, right?

My latest poem Phoenix Rising using Affinity Publisher and Affinity Photo to create the layout. I used PagePlus X9 to create the title using filter fx and preset styles and exported it as a 32bit PNG. Then I placed the image onto the page in Affinity Publisher, although the colours are slightly different.

I've bought AP from App Store and wonder if I could create a PDF doc by selected group of images. In Indesign we've got some scripts for that. But I've found no way to do it in AP. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Thank you!

Greetings, Been using Aff Pub to work on a pdf file. Every time I switch between two open file (Cutting and pasting) the scroll bar on the page thumbnail panel jumps back so I have to grab it and drag it down to the end of the document everytime. Why doesn't it stay on the page you are working on?? Is this normal behavior?? It is really frustrating.

Greetings, I have a pdf file that has each page formatted as a two page spread (except for the cover and end page which are single pages). Converting this pdf via acrobat pro 8.1 is really tedious and time consuming. I have opened the pdf in A_Publisher to convert each two page spread into a single page spread - but can't figure out if this can be done? A_publisher also sees the two page spread as one page, but that two page spread needs to be split (or cropped). Can't seem to find a "split page" option. In the document setup panel, the "facing" checkbox is already unchecked when the file loads. In the "Spread Setup" panel, resetting the dimensions of the spread to a single page centers the new page down the middle - so you get half of each page instead of either the left-hand side or the right-hand side. One thing A-Publisher does do is see each page as a single entity - so if I click on either the LH page or RH page I get a blue bounding box around each individual page. However, the only way I've managed to make this work is by creating a "new" single page document and cutting and pasting each individual page from the original file into the new document. This is also very tedious and time consuming. Is there better way?? I have zero experience with publisher.

Hello everyone! I've been loving the 1.7 update and publisher, tho I've been having a issue when moving between apps, I have a project in Affinity Publisher and I wanted to move it into the (Full version of) Affinity Designer. (I know Publish haves the Designer Persona tho it dose not have the persona within designer such as the Export Persona) I needed to use the Export person to export a slice from the project. So I went to File > Edit in Designer (this moves the project from Publisher over to Designer (full version (not persona)) I then was able to do what I needed but there seems to move no way to move the project back from Designer to Publisher? Is there way to move the project back? (same issue from Publisher to Photo) Thanks for your time, Andrew.

I have purchased & updated my Affinity Photo application (this is all on my windows laptop), & yet still Affinity Publisher can't seem to connect to it. Any thoughts or suggestions as the problem & solution?

Hi, I'm D and I seem to be having a problem installing Affinity Publisher despite purchasing it a few days ago for preoder. Before this I have downloaded the Adobe Publisher Beta and now that I try to setup the software it said it's failed? Someone please help me, I need to do my portfolio quick

I too can't seem to download/watch the stream video. I just get the blank grey box on that Keynote page. I don't seem to have any security stuff blocking it. When the stream WAS actually live, earlier today, I could hear it, but not see anything. Now, I can't even hear anything... if it's even playing. Is it going to be available elsewhere to view?

I just have 2 questions: 1. Other than activating the personas, are there any new features released compared to the latest beta 1.7.1.399? In my account → Downloads & Products Keys, I have 4 Affinity publisher Beta purchases, they're so annoying and useless right now, are there any plan to remove them automatically?

I do have a question. How can we link our existing Affinity Photo and Designer software from the App store with StudioLink? It currently says that both are not installed on my Macbook Pro, but they are.

Will Affinity Publisher support a grammar checker in the near future? PagePlus has one. If not then maybe supporting the Language Tool extension for LibreOffice and Open Office might be a good idea.
