  6. Here you will find some calendar templates for Affinity Publisher in DIN A2, DIN A3 and DIN A4 format (portrait or landscape). All templates have a bleed of 3 mm. You can change the colors of background, weekdays, weekends and months with the custom color palette (Kalender | Calendar) in the swatches studio. You can change the the fonts via the custom font styles in the font studio. MONATSTITEL = Month title Wochenende = weekend Wochentage = weekend The template have a master for each month and a background. You can download the templates here: German: https://mensch-mesch.com/download/affinity-publisher-kalender-vorlagen-2020/ English: https://mensch-mesch.com/download/affinity-publisher-calendar-templates-2020/ Other languages: For other languages please use the find and replace text function in Affinity Publisher. If you don't know how to use this function watch this tutorial: https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/tutorials/publisher/desktop/video/337309804/ Keep on drawin' Norbert

  9. I am making a calendar template. Is there a way to change the font of the month on the master page and it will then leave the words typed on subsequent pages but changes only the font? TIA
  10. This might be a question or possibly a feature request. Is there a way of replicating Photoshop's .PSDT template format in Designer? It's a little feature but it's such a timesaver.
  11. 1. Komplex Content of a Master page 2. Import for multi-page pdf 3. Merging the komplex master page with the multi-page pdf. At the moment, it is possible to place the first page of a multi-page pdf in a document with a komplex master page. But if you open a multi-page pdf, the master page is empty. To apply a complex master, saved as a separate file is not possible. There could be different solutions to the problem. Indesign has a plugin for that. Not ideal, but it works. Maybe there could be a solution for this problem as well?
  12. Here is a small pocket calendar for 2019 created with Affinity Publisher (primary just made in order to try and play a little bit around with APub table settings etc.). - However maybe somebody has a need for something like this. Note: this example is a business card sized pocket calendar (85 x 55 mm) and the calendar month/day texts are in german here, but all (colors, text etc.) could be easily edited and replaced. pocketcalendar_2019.afpub Have fun!
  13. Hi all, first time on the forums. Just purchased Affinity Designer and hoping this can replace my need for Adobe Illustrator. First thing I was planning on doing was create a collection of 12 monthly calendars for 2019. I do this for my mother's business each year. I was looking around but don't seem to see anything simple which is what I am looking for. I also put some custom fields to be filled out by hand on specific calendar days. I was looking for something in this style: Is this something I will have to do manually, change days month by month, or is there a 2019 monthly template out there?
  14. Hello, I confess being a total noob using a desktop publishing software, despite having downloaded Publisher Beta version for ages now :). I just didn't find the time to properly do something with it until now. Topical I guess, I made a template for a 2019 diary (1 week per page) With a master page, and text styles. I purposely didn't add any fancy stuff in it, but I guess not inputting 365+ days by hand will at least be helpful. Decorate it your own way Let me know if you see any mistakes, things that don't look professional, things that should have been done differently. I'm always keen to learn! Diary 2019 Template.afpub
  15. Good morning, Is there a way to have nested master pages, where modification in 1 master page affects other master pages? For instance, I have one master page that defines the background and other master pages that contains the picture frames and text box. I want to change the background, without having to change the master pages that use this background individually. Thanks
  16. I have problems using master pages There is a menu way to "show master pages" However it is always greyed out I want to create a master page that I can then choose to use in a new file Questions 1) Is there a way to produce a template file? 2) How do I import a Master page of my choice into a new file
  17. I have two matters that I would like to raise in connection with document templates: If Affinity Publisher is going to be supplied to customers pretty much as it is in the beta version, then it looks to me that it is going to be supplied without a selection of pre-made templates. I would like to suggest that consideration is given to setting up a number of pre-made templates for customers to either use as they are or which can form a basis from which they can create their own documents. Apart from assisting customers to get started with their own documents, it would enable Affinity to showcase the capabilities of its product. I would like to be able to design and save a basic structure of a document to be used as a template, such as a newsletter. With the template set up, then other users could take the base template to create an updated version of a document without the risk of the original template being overwritten. At the moment, I believe that the only way to do this is to design and save the base document and then open it for use when needed. My concern is that it will be easy for the base document to be overwritten or amended as people start to use it.
  18. I use Affinity Designer It would be great if we have ready to use social media documentation size. Or at least let us save the size dimension as custom template please.
  19. I've attached two AD files containing templates: [1] for creating icon/tile assets for a UWP app (if you can't use the Asset Generator of Visual Studio 2017); [2] for creating Microsoft Store art. Even if you use the Asset Generator you can still use the templates to see how your icon will look in various tile sizes/shapes. (The attached image is just there so you can see what you get with the first set of templates.) Basic instructions for each set of templates are included in the AD files themselves. Both sets of templates were used for my own - very simple - little app... * on the web: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/p/pipagen/9p44qw5l4vm8?activetab=pivot:overviewtab * in the store: ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9P44QW5L4VM8 ...so I know they work (at least as far as I've been able to see in normal usage). Neither set of templates is comprehensive but they give you the basics for most general projects. UWP Tiles Templates.afdesign Microsoft Store Art Templates.afdesign
  20. Hi Everyone, Just started using Designer, and I have a question that's probably been answered 100x... If there any way to make a template, where I can quite easily drop in ready to print business cards, in the layout I need for my card cutter? My intention is to design and print directly from Designer, without having to export and change programmes multiple times. i tried making rectangular boxes on an A3 page, where i need them to be, but i cant seem to easily replace them. i remember in serif x8 i could change a box to a picture frame and select the picture i want to fill with, i cant seem to find this option in Designer. Any help, info, suggestions would be highly appreciated. Thanks P.S. the attached pdf shows the layout i need. Publication1.pdf
  21. Hi, I'm ready to buy a Résumé/CV template to use in Affinity Designer but where can I find some? I found one decent in .ai but something is strange with the size (not A4) and I don't want to lose to much time with this. Any ideas? Thanks :-)
  22. Hi! Is there anyway I can save a custom page preset as a template? For example, Facebook Page Cover template, Instagram Post template, Business Cards template, etc. with different sizes for each template. I'm currently using Affinity Designer desktop. I've tried to find answers and had no luck. Did find this but it did not have the solution: Please let me know - this would be such a huge help!
  23. So I made this video for my weekly blog....and I thought you guys might get some value out of the downloadable template...I attached it here .....and the tutorial that actually shows you how to make it. J Downloadable Madala files.zip
