Why do you have to bake the corners, that kind of destroys their purpose

Well, since I do not have any choice,  how do I select ALL corners in my  composite object and bake ALL corners at once?

I'm having the same problem with Designer 2.5.5 on MacOS 14.5.
I'm stacking 12 32-bit EXR files, 8k dimensions (3D renders). They're all linked and Status is "OK" according to Resource manager.
The document ALWAYS opens blurry. I tried the zoom-in-zoom-out trick, that works (it refreshes to a sharp copy) if I select each linked file manually in layer manager one by one and then zoom.
I have 128Gb ram, of which 100 free. When it opens the file, I can clearly see that Designer is not using enough ram to cache all of the linked files: only 1.4Gb. It uses up 6Gb after all the zooming and getting sharp links.

    Hi @Swörl,
This is a separate, but known issue specifically with linked EXR files currently logged with the developers, i've bumped the issue with your report. 🙂

I'm sorry to be like this but the first thing I did was to run a comparison of the EULA from before and after. Given recent developments.
    They are the same.

Would be nice if the warp group affects bitmap fill on objects within.

Swörl reacted to Peter vB in Import from Designer on iPad to Designer 2?
Well, after 10 hours of constant click click swipe swipe I have all my old v1 files in AP2.
Started 5:30pm and was ready around 3:30am.
After a 7 hour sleep I can still feel it in my right hand
    Question:
My standard saving location is in de AP(2) folder on my iPad.
If I would choose to save them to iCloud instead, would those iCloud files still disappear when I ever delete my AP2 application?
with other words: do I need to save an extra copy outside of the Affinity Photo folders?
    What is best practice?

Yikes! Do you actually have 300 unsaved files? That’s a very risky workflow. Saved files are in a different format and can be copied/moved/duplicated easily and stored anywhere. I’d recommend Saving as an early step in any new projects.

Hi there! I love designing with repeating patterns. Now I found a good workflow to design and apply repeating patterns in AD. I recorded a tutorial that shows you how to design them, build a style library and apply patterns. They blend nicely with color fills using blend modes. The pattern and the color fill are in one shape, so no duplicates!

If you prefer the short explanation: I design vector patterns in a separate document using symbols to get the tiling right, export as bitmaps, use bitmap fills to build up a Style Library and apply those in drawings on iPad and desktop.

thanks all for giving attention to this issue,

Hi @GabrielM thanks for your time, as we already know this is issue happen for those that only own Affinity Designer on the ipad,
I would be so much grateful to see this issue added on the fix list, because people like me that don't need to use affinity Photo for not being a photographer, it's not very convenient to Affinity Designer users to buy a software to get a solution just to import assets, I hope this makes sense,  I'm wondering if this will be fixed in the next update, because if is not I will need to stop to make Styles for the affinity designer users, thanks once again, and sorry for the inconvenience to insist on this issue.

    regards

    Jhon

I also can't import .afstyles from DropBox or iCloud in Designer 1.7.2. Files are greyed out like Chris says.

I'd like to upvote this feature: automatic 2-way cloud sync between iPad and desktop would be great.
Amazing mobile app btw. I'm switching from the "Graphic" app, but Designer on iPad is next level.
