Your picture depicts the Earth as seen from a distance similar to that of the moon. Apart from atmospherics there would be considerably more detail visible. That perhaps is why it doesn't sit well within the picture? I know it's not easy. . .I've tried similar things myself. One thing I have found useful on certain pictures (it doesn't always work) is to lower the opacity to about 90% - this helps it to sit within the picture and at the same time allows a fraction of the background colour to pass through it. Apart from that it's a fine picture.

You have a unique and singular style of the like I have not seen before, in here, or anywhere else. It's also refreshing to see someone using designer as a art platform to realise their creative ideas. Personally, I like them all, and some of them do make me think of H R Giger.- 7 replies

I'm not that bothered about total visual accuracy, but rather the overall effect of all composited components which create the picture. I think you did an admirable job.- 13 replies

Sounds fair to me. It also shows that you put some thought into it. -

Up and running with version 1.8. The Affinity roller coaster rolls on! -
I like it. If one can recognise an object for what it is - without explanation, then the creator has been successful in my view. Ok, it's not perfect, but anyone and everyone will see this for what it is. . .a record. Good job. ps: All you need to do now is create a label.

Moon shots are never boring.

Yup. I would have to agree on that one. It's a nightmare to try and refine. I've tried it and got nowhere.
