Erase White Paper works very fine, but only deletes the white background. How does it work?, because sometimes it is necessary to remove the "non-white" background. Would it not be possible to do a similar function with selecting background color to delete?

It would not be a problem to create several icon sets (round, square, color, monochrome, ...) that would be part of the application, and user choose it according to their needs and visual style. I'm really surprised, that the icon "experts" have not done that a long time ago, and they have not made it available to others.

What is the problem of exporting images in the required resolution?

The big advantage of Export dialog is, that you can choose basic export parameters directly when you select the output file format. For a conventional combobox format selection in SaveAs, you need another dialog to specify these parameters, which is an unnecessary step. Of course, this could be done by completely re-formatting dialogue forms (like Export), but it will not be easy, so I suggest the simplest solution for Affinity.

As I wrote in this and in similar topic (https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/54114-affinity-photo-save-as/&do=findComment&comment=274538), Affinity philosophy (SaveAs - native format, Export - other formats) is good for me, and I do not have a problem with it. But I understand, that for many users with different practices it can be a unnecessary complications. This can be solved very simply. In preferences, place a selection option: - SaveAs, only native format. - SaveAs, all formats (native and exported). Depending on this option, SaveAs processing is different - either an existing service, or an Export dialog with added native format.

In this example we can see, that boolean operations can do a lot of things quite easily. He just needs to know how to do it :-) However, it is also evident, that their implementation still has large reserves. Although they are the same and completely symmetrically spaced circles, after their distribution are some segments very complicated. Identical segments at other positions transfered into curves optimally.

And what is the request?

It is not illogical - on the contrary. After years of groping, I switched to the same way in my applications. Unambiguous separation of native formats from exported is simply better. The only problem is that you have learned some workflow *). This has nothing to do with logic. For me is important, that Affinity respects the same logic for all applications. What can be seen as illogical when editing the photos (it can be done with some restrictions in several formats), even more important for Designer, where "vector" can really work only in native format. *) I recommend that you change the keyboard shortcut for Export - replace it with a keyboard shortcut for SaveAs, and you will always jump direct to Export.

The histogram shows, that it is against the NX-D pushed to the left. Did you make the white level balance?

Try another Resample method. "Nearest Neighbor" is fast, but the least quality.
