A proper array tool would be way better.

The thing that I am most worry about is the fact that they mentioned they won’t release a feature until it’s exactly as they want it. But as in the artboards case, their view of how things should work fine didn’t match our views(most of us anyway). We wanted them separated from the layers panel in their own panel list. 
 
The partial implementations in the more frequent betas would have caught those sort of issues rather fast. But now we just have to accept whatever they come up with regardless if we like it or not. 
 
It seems there was some policy change by management or something regarding beta release frequencies or they want to save the time it took to release a beta(probably wasn’t that much anyway)?

Although what I don’t get about this wait for stable beta is that before devs had no problems releasing new features. There was no wait for stable update version on app store.
 
What changed?

I have been dealing with beta withdrawal symptoms for over 2 months now. Everyday I come here hoping that the cats feed my addiction again. I am desperate, internet please help me. What should I do? :D

Is it possible to place the found item on top or somehow in the middle of the layers' list?
Currently it scrolls until spots the selected layer and stops, so it is always the last layer of the list and you have to scroll further in order to see (for example) nested ones.
 
Well at least if this makes sense... :)

can i beg for what i call "point alignment" to be in the next version?  By Point Alignment, i mean the ability to align/group/transform/distribute an objects individual points much like you would align/distribute a group of objects?

I do agree, I'd love to see in future releases (even 2.x) features as inset/offset path, clone/repeat, point operations (multiple add, even/odd selection), simplify, roughen, remove overlaps... Basically sidecar functions to speed up work.
