Blur Brush Tool
Chris B replied to FMA's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
Hi FMA, Welcome to the forums :) Are you on the correct layer? If you open the Layers tab you might see numerous objects in there. Please click the layer with the image on it and try again! You might need to right-click it first and choose Rasterize from the list. -
Hi kanton14, Welcome to the Affinity Forums! 1. Open your image and create a new layer 2. Select the Paint Brush tool (or press B on the keyboard) and then choose the colour you wish to use for the lipstick from the Colour tab 3. Paint over the lips until they are covered. You can use the [ and ] keys on the keyboard to change the size of the brush 4. On the Layers tab, click the drop-down where it says 'Normal' and select 'Soft Light' 5. Experiment with the opacity You can try changing the Flow and Hardness of the brush which may help achieve a more natural look. I hope this helps!

Hi Gerd, Welcome to the Affinity Forums :) You should be able to do it by following these steps: 1. Click the Node Tool (Shortcut A) 2. When you see the white circular nodes appear, click the one nearest the arrowhead 3. You will then see a 'handle' appear stemming from the white node 4. Grab this and start rotating it. This should get you close to what I think you need Regards, Chris.

This is absolutely incredible. One the best renders I have ever seen. I too thought it was a photo at first. Amazing.

Nailed it. Thanks for sharing :) -
Roy Lichtenstein inspired so many projects for me at College and University. As you said they normally have a tormented look about them but it's interesting to see this style where they look happy! Great work and thanks for sharing :)
