@thomaso The issue seems to relate to our Vimeo account and having the videos set to private.
We're currently looking into the issue to see if any alternative methods can be used. In the meantime, most of the newer videos should be available on our YouTube channels.

I tried to repeat the crash using the zipped images today (on my first post). It only goes wrong when the greyscale image is first in the HDR merge list followed by the colour image.
I finally got a crash report for you.

Thank you for the correction, I worded it backwards. Publisher breaks after the tab while other apps such as MS Word break before the tab. @Lee D Please note my mistake.

I asked the developers to confirm if this workflow/process is a bug but they confirmed it's working as expected. As the commands on the menu are independent of the Move tool, so it won't be using the current selection box, just the base box of each selected item.
But it may be something that they look at improving in the future.

I've logged this to be confirmed if by design or a bug.

@Archangel I'm not getting any crashes on macOS or Windows using those images within the HDR Merge feature (default settings). But as @NotMyFault has suggested, they aren't the type of images usually used for HDR merging which includes having different colour profiles.
Open Photos Settings > Performance if Hardware Acceleration is enabled, try turning off and restarting the app and repeating the process.

The various different studios within the app can be toggled by going to the main Window dropdown menu.
The fields option is on the References flyout.

Thanks Lee the problem went away. I do not even remember what the solution was. Sorry to bother. I do notice that now and then stacking fails on my iMac Monterey and the second time usually works. Happened both on AP1 and AP2. Oh I remember now the original problem was solved by leaving off the calibration files to get the stacking to work. 

@Alex_M If you can send me a copy of your file or a download link via DM I can take a look.
If you could also confirm if you have Hardware Acceleration enabled or disabled within the apps Settings > Performance.

Welcome to the forums.
 
You can achieve a similar design, using the Star Tool on the QuickShape flyout. Once you have placed one on the canvas, on the Context toolbar change the number of points to 4 and adjust the Inner radius and Outer/Inner Circles or use the nodes.

@Maxdanger I've created a new report with the developers for this, as I can't find an exact one for the earlier versions to update.
