During an autumn walk with an old Nikon V1, image development in Affinity Photo.

Okay, sorry about the empty post earlier . . . but the image was edited with an inferior program.
My wife and daughter used to go to a meeting every November in Texarkana, AR. I would drop them off and go to Four State Fairgrounds and take some pics.

Hey everyone. This is a piece I finished recently in Affinity Designer. I wanted to create the look and feel of 70s retro scifi illustrations and at the same time I wanted to stay 100% vector. No traces, no bitmaps, no pixel layers. Critique, opinions and questions welcome :D

Nothing special, I took these pictures last weekend at Umhlanga Rocks in South Africa, all pictures taken with a Sony A7II, with the Sony 28-70mm, and all develop in Affinity Photo.
This is my first time using Affinity Photo to develop pictures.

This is something I sat on for a few days hoping I would get time to go back and polish it up a bit more. Unfortunately, that hasn't really happened. I'm trying to get in the habit of getting to a stopping point with things, though. I have a ton of unfinished pieces and realize it's a bad habit I have.

Hi all. I've been playing around with the trial version of Affinity Designer for the last few days and so far I'm really liking it. I've dipped in and out of art as a hobby for quite a long time and just recently decided to dip back in. Here's something I did today. I based this on a randomly generated description of a critter.
 

I've always been shy about sharing my work, but I'm trying to get over that. Even though it's only a hobby and something I can only devote a few hours a day to, I am interested in improving. Does anyone have any suggestions as to places I can post my work to get feedback? I know people post to places like Instagram and Imgur (which I've done), but those aren't really places geared towards getting criticisms of your work. A downvote on Imgur doesn't really give you a good idea of what you need to improve.
 
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It is still very difficult to use Affinity Photo for mockups. However, I think a basic solution is to prepare layouts that allow you to use the perspective tool with ease. Also, leave prepared layers that can be used as masks.
On this, I would like to share something that I am working on:

In this template, I just import the business card's PNG images and adjust it with the perspective tool on one layer (hidden below).
The thickness and background colors are changed by selecting the desired color from the palette.
I'm currently revamping this model to insert a localized varnish mask.

Seriously, this design took a long time to build, but to modify and use is super fast and easy.
I would like to hear from the community before proceeding to produce more Affinity Photo-specific mockups!
