(.424) 1. open an image 2. the protection deselect 3. duplicate the image 4. apply an adjustments layer eg "HSL" 5. select all Layer 6. go to menu "Layer - Merge Seleected" and confirm with OK, or with the shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+E The layers are not merged. I can't replicate it in 404 or the current Beta 434 Affinity Photo 2.5..; Affinity Designer 2.5..; Affinity Publisher 2.5..; Affinity2 Beta versions. It appears that a member of the Affinity QA team didn't get round to fully investigating this specific report posted in the bugs forums. We are very sorry for this oversight. Yours is one of a number of reports that I am posting this apology to, using an automated script. Now we have released 1.8.3 on all platforms containing many hundreds of bug fixes, and we hope your problem has already been fully addressed.
