Affinity Designer incorrectly displays the stroke thickness in numbers

Recommended Posts

In version 2.2.0, Affinity Designer (PC) found that the stroke thickness in numbers is not displayed. When I move the slider, I don't see any changes in the numbers. The changes are visible only after I release the slider. But, in the panel on the right, everything is displayed correctly. Or is it not a problem and should it be?

Possibly the decimal places that are set in the settings. Try increasing the decimal places for the units you are using.

But the stroke thickness is not displayed in pt in the upper menu

It seems to be shown in pt in your screenshots above. What am I missing?

In any case, another relevant setting might be the one to "show lines in points" (not sure of the name, might be in the same part of the Settings).

Кажется, на ваших скриншотах выше это показано в pt. Чего я не понимаю?

В любом случае, другой соответствующей настройкой может быть параметр "показывать линии в точках" (не уверен в названии, возможно, находится в той же части настроек).

I mean, when I move the slider in the stroke settings, the width in pt does not change until I release the slider. I.e. I do not immediately see how much I increase the stroke, only after I release the slider

I can confirm that behavior. The values of the stroke slider in the toolbar don't change until I release the slider, while they change simultaneously in the stroke panel. "Show Lines in Points" is activated in my settings. I think it's a bug.

I'm on Windows 10.

Edit: It's the same, by the way, in Photo and Publisher 2.2. In Designer 1.10.6 it works correctly.

I tried it. Disabled this option, but the problem is not fixed.

For what little it is worth, this problem does not occur on the Mac versions so it is probably a (minor?) bug in the Windows ones.
