V2.2 Beta No Status Bar or Multitasking option

iPad Mini 6. Is there supposed to be a top bar showing the battery etc, and multitasking buttons?
I either don’t have something switched on, or it’s not available on the mini 6

ipadIOS 16.5.1

So I looked in Settings, Homescreen& Multitasking. It's not there, so it looks like multitasking is not available in this iPad version from Settings

However the status bar is there except in affinity. The three dots are there except in any of the Affinity apps, and I can sort of multitask in Affinity. I can if I drag up from the bottom.

see the video.
