Grays are not visible in 3D layer effects

I'm not finding this as a reported bug.

In version 2 beta 1790 of AD the Profile and Direction are not visible.

In the Version 2 it's very light but visible.

In version 1 it was very visible.

I'm not finding any settings that seem to affect this issue.

I'm running AD beta 1790 on a 27" 2020 5K mac running Ventura.

Yet another of the many fails with the light interface. The entire User Interface needs to be taken seriously by the developers.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I'm on Windows and this dialogue looks fine, (the same as the v1 version above,) in both v2 and the beta version, so I assume it must be a Mac only problem.

Certainly influenced by the UI Brightness Preference...

1 hour ago, Gear maker said:

it loaded with UI Contrast set to high.

It should be visible/obvious with the UI Contrast set to the default. I will say that this (having to change the UI Contrast) is a failure.
