postmadesign
Although I welcome the return of the delete button in a certain form, I am not sure it works with the swipe on the X button in the bottom left. I want to use it with my left thumb, but find myself often triggering the making of a screenshot instead. It would be better if it were just a dedicated button as it was before, either in the lower left, or in the context toolbar at the top when the Move tool is selected. DM1
🙀I didn’t even realise the X could be swiped. Who ever came up with the idea for 'hidden' functions, it really is not a good idea. Please, there needs to some way for the user to determine that an icon has more than one function (other than trial and error). What model of iPad do you have? Mine requires pressing two physical buttons to create a screenshot. I did not even know that I could do a screenshot this way, but if I swipe up from bottom (left?) it makes a screenshot. This is quite inconvenient if I want to delete an object! walt.farrell
Yes, that would be annoying. postmadesign
I have been able to disable the swipe gesture for screenshot. I will have to check if this improves things. walt.farrell

I understand the frustration & totally agree. A dedicated delete button would definitely be far better/convenient; or even an option to choose between the ✖️& 🗑️ button from the settings menu. When I swipe with my thumb, I often pull the dock up. The pen works a bit better, but it disrupts the workflow. The solution from V1 was optimal, but a checkbox would probably have helped everyone. Leo1
Thanks for bringing back the delete button, but I do not like the swipe. It is slow(er) and it is not what was requested. Accidental deleting I never experienced as a problem. So you would make me very happy, with the V1 delete button. By the way, the other V2 changes I like a lot. And thanks for the hard work.
