  1. Designer2_Mac.mov On the Mac the icon change at first to a knife. If you select a line it change into a scissors. You can now slide along a line until you find the position to set the cut. Click and you cut the line at this position. Very nice. This happened exactly on my iPad in Version 2.0.2.1 with a Apple Pencil 1. In Version 2.0.2.2 it changed to this Designer2_iPad.mov You select the knife - but there is no knife icon. If you select a line, it didn't change to a scissors, but for a second you see a cutting mark. If you try to move this cutting mark, it seems to be change back to the knife mode and it will place cutting points along the movement. The only way to find now the right cutting point, is place the pencil at first click on the right position on the line. This is freehand with iPad and pencil not so easy as is look like. The version 2.0.2.1 was like on the Mac and much better.
  2. What happened to the scissors-tool? In version 2.0.2.1 you could still drag along a path and find and set the correct intersection point. In the current version 2.0.2.2, the scissors no longer appear at all, but a cut is made immediately and when moving, it switches back to the knife tool. I would like it back like in the 2.0.2.1.
  3. 👍 I agree with that. When I swipe with my thumb, I often pull the dock up. The pen works a bit better, but it disrupts the workflow. The solution from V1 was optimal, but a checkbox would probably have helped everyone.
  4. Best idea for all, if there is not enough space for both buttons. @MEB This new dual function isn't necessary since that whole left tool bar is basically empty staring half way down, there is plenty of room for both. it depends on the display resolution of the iPad.
  5. I'm skeptical about the dual function, but will be happy to be surprised. Many Thanks
  6. That's possible, of course, but if you edit a file like this for a long time, it's very uncomfortable in the long run. If you switch back to the V1 you immediately notice the difference
  7. I also miss the delete icon from V1. For example, if you clean up 2D vector data created from 3D files, then there are sometimes hundreds of lines that have to be deleted. The V2 is no longer usable for this. Finally there is a cut tool, now there is no longer a reasonable delete function. Too bad.
