evtonic3
Only thing missing now is the option to change the background color of the pasteboard! Light grey doesn't have enough contrast against the white, even though that will be filled with color, shapes, etc. Thanks!! PabloNeirotti
Since there is no update on this issue, I'd like to necro bump this. The whole UI is too dark to have such bright surface surrounding the document. Please let us toggle a full dark mode or something while using Artboards! The current workaround is to draw a huge rectangle, colour it dark grey, and then lock it so I can't accidentally click it. It just feels odd I gotta extend the UI's theme manually. cinebox
aleperz
Yeah, I agreed with this too.The artboards mode behaves too much differently from the normal canvas mode. I read on the another thread (closed) that is done by design, hopefully this could be changed in future, I dislike the fact of looking (always) the artboard labels and artboard canvas stroke, none of that happens on a normal canvas (no artboard); this is more annoying when you are on full screen with all UI hiden, where you can still see the artboards labels and artboard canvas stroke, which sometimes distract you a bit from the actual design. Been able to customize these setting will be good plus.
Staff MEB Posted June 26, 2016 Staff Share Posted June 26, 2016 The latest Beta (1.5) already lets the user set the Artboard Background Grey Level, in Affinity Designer ▸ Preferences, User Interface section. This will be available in next Mac App Store update (Affinity Designer 1.5). NKC
Hi - I've changed my pasteboard colour, but how can I see the content which flows onto the paste1board? Like you can in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop? Thanks.
