brseavey Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 I was under the impression that the output file format could be changed at any time. When I went to output my project it seems the only option is to print it as a PNG file. Can I channge it to PDF without starting all over again? mpowell 1 Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 30, 2019 Posted December 30, 2019 Your choices for output are: File > Save, which is mainly used to save an Affinity native-format file, .afphoto or .afdesign or .afpub. File > Export, which is used to save a JPG, TIFF, or PNG image, or a PDF, PSD, EPS, SVG, or several other kinds of document file File > Print, which is used to make a printed copy, or sometimes to print to a PDF driver that gives you another way of making a PDF. Which of those are you trying to do? Exporting to pdf from Affinity will give you much more control. Quote AP, AD & APub user, running Win10
GarryP Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 Try changing the export file type by pressing the necessary icon at the top of the Export dialog, see attached GIF. Quote

ParadisePhotography776 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 How do I export or save as without the Affinity native-format file? I am trying to save images to PSD. Quote

As previously advised in this thread, choose Export and one of the option for format is PSD. (See the image in @GarryP's post two above yours.
