  1. Actiually I don't choose a side to flip under properties - I do that on the only on the print page.
  2. I am trying to print, from affinity publisher, a pamphlet with 128 pages. When I send it to a printer, selecting "print" from the file menu, I can click on "properties" and in the "basic" page, choose "portrait" for orientation , and on the "print profile" page, select 2-sided" from "2-sided, booklet" and flip on the short side. Returning from the properties screen to the print screen, selecting "landscape" from orientaion and under double-sided, select flip on short edge, I get what I want: pages printed in landscape with 2 half-sized portrait oriented pages left to right on both sides. Selecting"pamplet" under "properties" screws things up. If I choost to send to Microsoft print-to-pdf I don't have an option of flipping on any side. IN the resultant pdf I get one page on each page side, the images on the pages are stretched and everything is portrait oriented. How can I print to a pdf that, when printed, gives the same output as sending direct to printer?
  3. This is strange. I can put filler text into this text box, but when I try to enter a character, the document skips forward a bunch of pages, always to the same page. It happens with 2 textboxes, on separate pages, both jumping forward to the same page. Other textboxes are not affected-I can enter text into them.
  4. Is it possible to change the color system that a finished affinity publisher will target? e.g. RBG to CYM? Is it possible to generate output for 2 different applications that use different color systems?
  5. I found out that I need "print" not "export". Print allows me to create a PDF
  6. When I was editing I found it easier to overlay a new image over an old one rather than 1st remove the old image and insert a new one. Now that I want to print to a pdf it complains that it can't find some linked images. I suspect that those are the ones that I buried. I'd like to unlinked the buried ones but don't lknow their names

  8. I was under the impression that the output file format could be changed at any time. When I went to output my project it seems the only option is to print it as a PNG file. Can I channge it to PDF without starting all over again?
  9. .I used to have a tools panel on the left side of my screen with move tool, shapes, etc... I don't know what I did but now that panel is gone. I tried shrinking the app to see if it was just off the page but that didn't help, just made the pages smaller. I found posts about "missing tool bars" which I assume is the set of tools at the top of the page. view>studio>reset does nothing... This is on Windows 10
