Hi Sean, thanks for your reply. I'm sorry but I have no file saved, I was only "playing around" with the beta in a "procrastinating phase". As far as I remember: in the layers-tab, I dragged a layer into another layer to clip and then drag the layer back o to unclip and suddenly designer crashed. edit: I've found a crash dump file but it is over 2MB so I can't upload.

Why not using a mask to blend the png with the black background, like so:

Something is going wrong with layers as "Clipping-Masks" or maybe the hierachy of layers/groups. Designer is kinda supersensible when I drag a layer into another layer, and then sometimes it's crashing.

@Arthur Crown, the method you are describing is the way I use and this works fine. Have you accidently switched on "Protect Alpha" in the tool-context-bar?

No this is no bug, I think. The Software looks for the center of the textbox to decide on what page it is. You should give Old Bruces tipp a try.

Hi uli123, it looks to me that the "Alles auf"-Textbox is on the page nr 5. Maybe it would help to put it on the page 4. Yeah, Walt has been faster.

In the color-tab click on the small circle where it says "opacity" this should change to "noise".

@craned make a copy of the fishs outline and use it as a clipping-path for the "flag"-fill.

When I work on masks (what I often do) I always press "D" on the keyboard to set the fore- and backgroundcolor to default (which is black and white). This shortcut isn't set by default, you need to assign it in the preferences. In addition I use the "X"-Key to toggle between hide and reveal.

You can make presets of the profiles that you want to use, so only they show up in the adjustments-panel.

The luminosity layer (or selection in this case) is in the clipboard (memory), its not a "physical" layer. I can't explain what happens technically, I'm a simple user. Another tipp concerning the use of the same mask for more than one layer is to make the mask for a group and insert your layer(s) into that group.

Hi anim, hold the cmd-key and click on the adjustment-layer-thumbnail, this creates a luminosity-layer which you then can paste on another adjustment- or mask-layer.

Select the nodes you want to discard and press and hold cmd and alt and Backspace, this remove the nodes and maintain (as good as possible) the shape. With your example above this method works fine.

Hallo Hirma, leg deine Doppelseiten mit Beschnitt in alle vier Richtungen (o,U,L,R) an, beim Exportieren von Einzelseiten wird dieser Beschnitt übernommen, dh. alle Seiten haben dann den Beschnitt. Wenn du dir den Export in z.B. Acrobat anschaust siehst du das alle Seiten, um den Beschnittbetrag größer sind.

Hello, this happens when you have a Text-Layer selected. If you don't have an text-layer or any layer selected it should behave as expected.

Hi @Jessethebuddy, welcome to the forum. You're right you can't enlarge pixel-data without getting a blurry result. Designer is not vectorizing any pixel/raster-data. Shrinking is not a problem with pixel-data. Get yourself the free trail and try it.

Hi Vosje, with the move-tool selected you see in the upper left corner of the tool-options bar the word picture frame, its dimensions and a small triangle where you can enter the dimension in absolute values or percent.

I've had no problems with the download, it took the usual <30 seconds with a 250 Mbit-Connection from Germany.

If I drag a JPG-file on the Publisher-Icon on my Windows-Desktop it opens. I find this is the simplest method to open a jpg-file. Maybe you should tell us how you are trying to open that jpg-file, or provide a screenshot or a short capture-video. You could also upload the file so others can prove that the file isn't corrupted. Besides that, there is no need to yell and not every program in the world can open a jpg-file.
