Is the scroll work vector and how did you make it?
In the two first pictures, the scrolls is not vector, but made a new vector layer, and drawing all the outlines in this moment.. will post some pictures later.
At the pictures above, all the scrollwork is hand drawn in Procreate. :-)
Ill try to post some pictures and video later :-)

Muchas gracias!! :-)

Thanks, for me it’s really useful to use these three apps together. AP, AD and Procreate :-) perfect combination:-))

Thank you! :-) Love doing these acanthus scrollwork, mostly for designing metal engraving motifs, but I also like to try these vintage motifs/poster or maybe it will become a glass gilded piece.. :-)
anywat, I see I was a little carried away yesterday, and I think this looks better flat, so I worked a little more on it.. just to try to learn :-)
Also played a little with masking layers :-)
better?

Is there any way to change the sensitivity of the nodes and the control points in AD for iPad?
Ofthe when I choose several nodes, and want to move them, it ends up I move one of the control points, unless I zoom out a lot.. and if I zoom out a lot, it can be a little difficult to move the nodes in a right way, as I don’t see the whole picture.
I guess it’s a little “get used to”, but it can be a litttle hard.. even to choose some nodes if they are too close.
If this isn’t explained we’ll enough, I’ll try to make a video of my “problem”
anyways, so far I mostly love the AD for iPad :-)

Thank you! :-) I see I forgot some shadowing on some leafs.. but they will be a good challenge vectorize :-)
i love to learn thing in this app.. I’ve struggled a lot with illustrator, but this is so much more understandable.. looking forward to learn more :-)

@Dan C do know anything more about this? If I understood right, you found an issue with the way Affinity was using psd files.. do you know if the fix was implemented in Designer for iPad? Because I still have the same issue there.
It makes Procreate crash when trying to import a affinity psd :-)

Thanks a lot guys! :-) I have something more coming up soon :-) Might be a little more on the edge.. anyways, thanks for feedback! :-)

Cool! I have been searching and hoping for something like this! Very welcome! :-)

Will these be able to import on the AP for iPad Pro too, or only desktop version? :-)

What do I do wrong? Downloaded https://forum.affinity.serif.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=41813

I’m quite fresh in affinity photo, but had the chance to play and try to figure out a little in the app for iPad Pro today..
‘My brother is visiting my parents and sent me this photo:
and i I was trying out things in the app, and made this... trying to learn something :-) I’m a total newbie, but feedback would be fun
I know the quality of the photo isn’t too good, and the style is quite “cheesy” but..

It was only me liking your input about the mesh tool! :-) I could have said +1 too :-)

Trying to learn and get used to this.. I’m not really an artist, but more like a crafts man.. but love to draw acanthus scrolls :-)
Some months ago I was drawing some scrollwork for a skull project in Procreate, and today I was learning a little more about masking.. so I combined these in affinity photo on the iPad Pro :-)
hope it’s not too bad!

Just got Affinity Designer for Mac, and I just want to inform that the same thing happens here.. well there, when I export a .psd from Designer and tries to import it to Procreate.. it crashes. Maybe its the same thing, but just wanted to inform :-)

Just bought Affinity Designer for macOS today, and had a nice supiese in Affinity Photo for iOS :-)
I made a document in AD, with text on path.. saved it and opened it in AP on the iPad. and discovered I could edit path and edit the text, even if the AP for iOS doesn’t have this option, I mean to create text on path in AP for iOS.
So I made a document in AD with some sample text on a path, saved it in the iCloud Drive, and when I need text on path in AP for iOS and dont have the Designer available as it’s not for iPad yet (hopefully soon).. I can just get them from this document :-)
this also means it shouldn’t be to difficult for the dev team to implement this feature for AP for iOS.. I guess :-)
Maybe a little clumsy explained, and obvious for some.. but a nice surprise for me :-)

At this stage, I prefer to buy or just download one.. I’m sure it’s easy when you know how, but I’m struggling doing the basics, so for now i just want to draw :-)
So fun with Affinity products
