I dont know exactly what the problem was. But I used the in-painting brush in one of my last edits very extensive and it worked flawless. No crash, no slow downs. cheers, Lutz

Vote4Appstore release. I found nothing really crashing. Opened several Multicomposure Tiffs around 100MB, speed is good. Nikon raw files open fast as well, no glitches. Affinity Designer file with several artboards looking good. ( symbols in an iPad app, so powerful) tryed several live filters, still amazed by the speed. Looking forward for an Affinity Designer Beta *wink thanks for this awesome update guys, with the new splash screen feels a bit like 2.0 cheers, Lutz

Hey, I use this one, there are several out there on amazon. I cant see any disadvantages and the pencil feels more natural on the screen protector. Picture quality is still high, but its not really anti Reflexion like advertised. Hey, sounds like a Feature request. Would be nice to have I understand. Automatic feautures is something I miss sometimes like applying a develope preset to multiple photos. But then again that might be in the pipe for an DAM •wink As for Instagram I use the build in crop from the Instagram app itself, it became quite powerful over the last years. So you see the crop right away and can change it. If I want absolute no Test posts on my feed, I use a second account just for that, so I can judge if i like it or not. cheers, lutz

I edit almost 20 Raw Files, no errors, no white screens (IOS Beta2 11.3). Just one crash when I test the Displace Filter it crashed the App 2 times when the picture I load is not stored localy. But I am still not so sure what it does From my side its a good release, Pencil works, the Brushes feel super smooth now its a pleasure to draw with them. The Font management is awesome and the raw developer is next level compared to 1.6.5. Was the color picker already in 1.6.5? Because of the problem in early betas I just noticed how useful it is now and use it all the time.

Thanks again for the super quick work atm. Seems like the release is near I did a little photo shot today in the forests, so a good opportunity to test it intensely, I am now confident enough in the RAW Developer that I dont need Light-room, for me a big step in the right direction. Even tough my extreme underexposing shooting style is only a niche problem I guess. cheers, Lutz

Thank you what a really nice Sunday surprise. Pencil sensitivity - works Pencil picks Color faster than a chicken - no more brushes feels more smooth and less bumpy - check Raw dev of nighttime photos - still tricky in extreme underexposed images but much much better than in 1.6.5 (might be my nikon raw) Taking raw photos with build in camera looking weird in public - funny as fun can be be Importing from cloud, iCloud, Dropbox, Nextcloud all working, export works too, at least I testet it here now a couple of times. No white screens so far That is all I testet so far. Tbh it’s kinda freezing outside so no one saw me snapping pictures with the iPad Pro. ( my cellphone camera is not even close as good sadly hehe)

Like mentioned, the color picker is fixed but now the Pencil has no sensitivity anymore. I do love the new start screen too, so gorgeous <3 Thanks for the ongoing work, this will be a big update when it comes to the app store. I think its almost there.

thanks for the fix, that is really the only thing I have big troubles with in the current beta, makes it for lettering unusable. The other added features work really well and I love them, specially the export brushes option. (well the little things hehe <3)

Hey Affni, the first one looks like the shadows been processed by the current stable Version. Are those iPad Beta screenshots? I just ask because despite the night photo issues with the shadow slider, on normal daylight raw files, it’s awesome so far, compared to Photoshop way better I would say. cheers, lutz

The Solo Button does exactly what you describe, when you for example do composing you can temporally turn off all other distracting layers. I think its more useful for Affinity Designer, but its a nice to have. The Lock Button or do you mean Alpha Lock? The lock button is 'Lock Selection' to avoid you accidentally selecting it whilst editing on the document. You can still edit the Layer like you said.

I can confirm this looks really bad. Weird since I can bump up the shadows on almost dark underexposed daylight photos like a boss.

That looks quite nasty, I shot Nikon as well, and have somewhere a RAW File of the Super moon from last year. I will check it later and post here the result.

Any news on this since I just made some brushes and would love to share them, just to figure out I can’t export.

I can confirm this even for the iPad Version, when I change brushes it crashes and restarts.
