  1. Listing of afpub file, which has two inserted image. - Linked image: - Embedded image:
  2. This is because you have all the objects/curves in one layer. In your case, it is better to put each curve on a separate layer (off "Add new curve to selected curves object" in Context toolbar), which is easier to manipulate.
  3. So the right way to do this is to run ADesigner (no Edit in), open the file "MyAwesomeGraphic.afdesign", edit it, save it, open *.afpub file in APublisher, and update the modified linked file.
  4. You can view it again at any time - Help, Welcome menu.
  5. And do you have exactly the same resolution (same image dimensions)? And do you use the same rasterization method for display and export?

  7. Affinity Publisher for "Windows". Useful information :-)
  8. StudioLink has nothing to do with linking (and embedding) documents. It is a link of Tools (Studios) from other applications. APublisher has "Edit in Designer/Photo...".
  9. Is it secret? Perhaps someone would have experience and could give advice.
  10. Thanks, it is consistent and intuitive.
  11. Personally, I think that this concept stems from the times of terminals and their printers (Unix, DOS), where movement in the X axis (from left to right) is not a problem (natural shift of the carriage), but movement in the Y axis is possible only from top to bottom (line feed). This is also the basis for char/pixel addressing in the PC. https://whatis.techtarget.com/definition/x-and-y-coordinates
  12. Since APublisher is a specific word processing application, it is quite logical to include tools and features that are not available in other applications whose purpose is quite different (photo editing and vector drawing). If for some reason you have to create a postcard in ADesigner (the standard procedure is to create it directly in APublisher), use "Edit in Publisher ..." to edit the text.
  13. This is a bug in Help, which in some cases provides an incorrect link.

  15. But the window title is not "Button". It is more like a Tab, where active title color is the same as the leaf.
  16. @capturleat, try another (hard) brush in Brush panel.

  18. If I understand your query well, just turn off compression. Allow JPEG compression—when selected, rasterized page elements will be compressed to decrease exported file size. If this option is off, rasterized page elements will be exported as uncompressed. https://affinity.help/publisher/English.lproj/pages/Publishing/publishPDFFiles.html
  19. Yes, an absolutely simple and standard task.
