Hey guys,
I thought I'd post a few of my paintings after using Affinity on my new iPad with the Apple Pencil.
Im loving this app for painting on weekends as I use Photoshop on a daily basis for my work as a concept artist/matte painter for film and TV.
Im still getting the hang of it but it's fun.

Just thought I would have a rest from working on the Brush Library.. So I have been experimenting with isometric layout options in  AD over the past couple of weeks!

Picturesque city, for sure. Beautiful photos.
An interesting observance: many cars in the photos, not many people. Maybe it is by your choice. One advantage is you don't have to get signed waivers by any identifiable people before you can post/publish the images.

I've been away from the camera for some time now, but last night I decided to revisit a photo I had produced late last year.  This was a 3-image HDR shot while vacationing in Northern California.  Processed in A.Photo... I was just playing around with some settings, nothing too serious.  I realized that I haven't had much time to play with the latest features in the app and I'm hoping to change that soon.
 

I'm still happy I made the switch to Affinity Photo.

15 years ago, on honeymoon I took a set of photos (no, not THAT sort of photo, behave yourselves!) as handheld shots of the sunset, with the thought that one day I'd turn them into a panorama shot. Now, all this time later, with AP's brilliant Panorama mode and Tone Mapping / HDR abilities, I've finally got the shot I imagined! Thanks Affinity

This is an experiment to see if the background bokeh adds to the image appeal. Used inpaint and selection brush to remove background. Duplicated image and added heavy Gausian blur to replace background.
