@Darner I've setup a test document (150x225cm/300DPI) with some shapes, brush strokes, placed TIFF file. It's exporting out to PDF without any crashes occurring. Can you provide any other info on your document itself or a copy of it and your export settings?

@design punch Can you do a full screen recording showing the issue occur? My basic workflow: Created a design in Designer and saved. Opened Publisher, confirmed "Automatically update linked resources when external changes are made" is enabled within apps Settings. Started a new doc (Placement: Linked) File > Place, inserted Designer file from 1. Save Pub file Reopened Designer and edit file, saved closed Reopened Publisher file, changes to placed Designer file are shown. You do reference a book file, which I didn't include in my basic workflow, so this could be related. But just in case I created a new book, added the Pub file as a chapter and saved. Edited the Designer file again and saved, then reopened everything in Publisher and the linked file is updated. A screen recording will help to confirm your workflow.

@TravisL Do you have a copy of your brush so I can take a look? Which Affinity app are you using? If you switch to the Node Tool, do any at the end of the line appear twisted?

Is this occurring each time you expand the list of styles regardless of the app being restarted/reset? Is it happening with any document, even a new one?

@karelles It would help if you could provide a copy of your file (if possible) or a full screen capture of the file open with the layers panel.

@Fonso2 Welcome to the forums. The file can be logged with the developers to look into. But I can't provide a timeframe on when this would be or if a solution will be made available.

If you have any particular workflows or documents this occurs with each time we can look into this further. The crash report did have some references to .NET but didn't specifically show this as being the cause of the crash.

@Fritz_H I've logged this as an improvement to the Crop Tool workflow.

@tzvi20 I believe this is more of a improvement request to have support for the shape formatting/features Word has available.

@Aritstrybycg Apart from the available options on the Grid & Axis window or manually creating them. Your other option would be to source them as individual files and place them in the document and use as an overlay. This workflow would be the same in the desktop and iPad versions of the apps.

@joe_l I've logged this with the developers to look into further.

@SALC Can you please try the suggestion in this FAQ article to see if it resolves the issue you're having.

@SUBH Your document setup looks ok, are they the requirements for the flyer? In reference to exporting to SVG, as @Alfred states, if some elements have effects applied they need to be rasterised during export. If you can DM me a copy of your file I can confirm if this is the case.

@DaleL It's not something I can reproduce with general use. We do have something similar logged but its when a German keyboard is being used.

@Ashcat If you can do a short screen recording showing your workflow and switching to another layer. As once I can reproduce the issue I can log it with the developers to investigate further.

The various different studios within the app can be toggled by going to the main Window dropdown menu. The fields option is on the References flyout.

@JohnWMcC Welcome to the forums. A screen recording showing your workflow and the issue occur would be helpful. Perhaps pin the Stroke studio so it doesn't auto close while your recording.
