p_mac reacted to v_kyr in Some Firework assets
The year is almost over, so let's share some reusable fireworks items for your possible flyers and new year cards. - Note that those firework assets are always groups of vector elements, thus if you want to recolor some of them you best select the whole individual group.
These assets are usable for things like shown in the following examples ...
The corresponding fireworks assets file as a zip-archive:

@stokerg yes it looks as though everything is working as it should with apologies for misspelling your name.
Thanks to @DM1 for spelling lesson and @walt.farrell for technical advice.

The black thumbnails occurred when the camera software was version 1. After updating to version 2, there has been no problem. I just imported uncompressed files with no difficulty to Photos and imported into AP both ways.

I've just talked with dev and I'm filling a report for this. Thanks for your feedback.

p_mac reacted to MEB in Selection and refine
No, tiff shouldn't cause issues here. I'm afraid there's no other way to deselect besides the Selection menu (the square on top) or using the shortcut cmd+D in case you have a physical keyboard connected. The new Quick Menu also doesn't have this as an option for the buttons unfortunately.

Thanks Chris B.
yes I have the latest beta and it is working as you have described.

p_mac reacted to Chris B in Is the Redo option working?
This is fixed in the beta. 2 fingers undoes and 3 fingers redoes and you do not get that menu. I'm not sure if you have the Testflight betas?

p_mac reacted to Chris B in Is the Redo option working?
Hey p_mac - we're already looking into this. It was broken by iOS 15.

p_mac got a reaction from Chris B in Is the Redo option working?
Three finger tap used to generate a redo action. In the new beta, the redo now appears in the popup menu which is opened with the three finger tap. Neither seem to be working for me. Am I missing a trick or something?

Hello,
We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the fifth build of Affinity Photo 1.10.0 for iOS.
If this is your first time using a customer beta of an Affinity app, it’s worth noting that the beta will install as a separate app - alongside your store version. They will not interfere with each other at all and you can continue to use the store version for critical work without worry.
This beta is an incremental update to the 1.9.2 version recently released to all customers (although it still installs parallel to the released version, as described above). We recommend that you use this beta in preference to the store version if you are affected by any of the issues listed below.
Affinity Photo Team

I am assuming that this is the issue that I have been telling you about. I don’t believe that it has been fixed, made a bit better.
It is sort of a mixed bag now.
Please see video below.

p_mac got a reaction from Andy Somerfield in Affinity Photo Customer Beta (1.10.0.248)
Thank you for all your hard work to improve this awesome software. Slowing but surely.
Don’t want to be a nag but do want to highlight an improvement that i noticed with the latest update with regard to the adjustments to levels, curves, procedural textures, or anything that use an adjustment menu. What I have noticed is that for examples Levels, by using the left-right arrows the operations work properly. However, the pop-up menu do not.

p_mac got a reaction from Chris B in Procedural Textures
Was playing around with Procedural texture and found some very strange behaviour. Two ways to use the menu, as a pop-up, and with the left-right arrows. There seems to be some function to the latter, but the pop-up menu is very strange. Please see video.
Hope you can reproduce this issue.

Hi James, firstly thank you for the revamped tutorials, they are awesome as usual.
I was wondering if you could give us a tutorial on the new HSL filter. It is vastly changed and I would like the perspective on how much has changed as it seems to be much more complex than the previous iteration.
With thanks in advance.

it would be nice to have this ability just as it is on Photo for MacOS?

Hi @p_mac,
There will be a beta coming for the iPad version but only the Dev team will know when. Best thing you can do is keep an eye on the beta iPad forum here.
