livetheshot
Hi, Wacom taps or clicks don't work on the macros panel. They work for everything else. I've uploaded a video to show the issue. I can use my Intuos Pro with all the usual panels however when it comes to clicking on a macro, nothing happens and I need to resort to using my mouse. Thanks, Wayne no-wacom-with-captions.mp4.mov
thomasp
It's been reported as an issue a while back, yes. QA was aware of it when I ran into this. livetheshot
livetheshot
Just discovered a workaround! It's not perfect and it'd be great for the single tap to work. I played around with the wacom tablet settings and under the advanced menu, when I switched to click and tap, the macro worked!
thomasp
That setting does change the pen button's behaviour quite noticeably - great if that works for you though. livetheshot
ChristiduToit
I second this. I'm using a different brand tablet (Yiynova) and am experiencing the same issue. Macros don't always execute after one mouse click, and often take a few clicks to work, and are completely unusable with a tablet pen/stylus on desktop. livetheshot

Yes it does and it's a workaround. This is currently the quickest way around for me as I need to edit and retouch a lot of photos this week for work. carl123
Another workaround is to right click the macro in the Layers Panel, select Edit Macro and run it from the Macro Panel Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. TomM1
I have this problem with a Huion tablet. Macros don't run with a pen tap. They do work with a press key programmed to left click. I also have the issue with a mouse. Macros don't run with one click and sometimes not with two clicks. The Edit Macro workaround works for now. TomM1
I would add that after losing my Huion pen in my house (unbelievable) I ordered a new pen and still cannot play a macro by tapping with the pen. Old Bruce
I find that my Wacom pen doesn't work with the Macros nor the Adjustments panel.
