SuperUser Posted March 29, 2019 Author Share Posted March 29, 2019 Yes, I tried to download the trial version after I installed the paid one to see if I get asked for a key. Problem is that the trial version and the full version are exact same files and none of them asked me to enter anything. So I don't have any clue what's wrong. You will find your Licence.xml file in Macintosh HD > Users > {YOUR_USER_NAME} > Library > Application Support > Affinity Photo to check for yourself. I followed the installation procedure but have the same issue, For publisher, no problem it did ask me to enter the product key, but for Designer and Photo it did not ask me anything and yet seems to be fully functional and is there is no number of days left. In that case, as Leigh mentioned earlier in this topic, you could look for the license.xml file. It would be in C:\ProgramData\Affinity\<application name>\1.0\licence.xml where <application name> is Photo or Designer or Publisher. I would suggest browsing it (or you could double-click on it and it will open in IE or Edge, or you can view it with Notepad or any other text editor). Look at the product key, and see if it matches the product key for the version you purchased, or the trial, or something else. Then delete the file, and restart the application.
