Tom Schülke Posted December 19, 2018 Author Posted December 19, 2018 Well Steps. But the functionality.. is missing.. i think Quote
Steps Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 In my opinion those two things are missing: A option to recover from the Missing status and relative paths. For the rest I feel no need. No, I meant when you don't have the embedded file anymore. I speak of the bug topic I created for that. I know that you said when Affinity goes the direction we want and do not embed linked files anymore there would be no need for that. But until then I still see that something should be done about that. But yes, it has a low priority. This is by far not the number one problem to address. Quote Windows 10 Pro x64 (1903). fde101 Posted December 19, 2018 Posted December 19, 2018 I think some of those options should be in a context menu instead of a rats nest of buttons. The font one would obviously be in the font manager not the resource manager. Quote
thomaso Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 ... and your "Pack and go..." might be expected in the file menu, somewhere around "Save As..." and "Export...", to make it include the .afpub, too, instead not resources only. ... And I'd appreciate both DPI to appear more close to each other. ... and ... and ... less "fake" + less "great" would be nice But first of all I would want the value for "Placed DPI" to be realistic and the "Color space" would tell the resources's space, not the document's. There is no need at all for such a function if we can get relative resource paths. Moving the whole folder in the filesystem is the only solution that inho would feel natural. 1 hour ago, thomaso said: ... and ... and ... less "fake" + less "great" would be nice You say it. The ironic tone of the starting post does not help. 1 hour ago, thomaso said: But first of all I would want the value for "Placed DPI" to be realistic What is wrong with it?
