WaveF
Last week I've been asked how to convert .afdesign file to .psd, here's the solution I found: 1. Export your design as .PDF from AffinityDesigner; 2. Use Adobe Illustrator open the exported pdf file and export as .PSD, done~ I've tried export eps/svg/pdf from AD, strongly suggest export as pdf. verysame
Why all the hassle? You can export to PSD directly from Affinity Designer. myclay
yeah directly exporting as PSD is possible as @verysame described, I guess its more about preserving text layers? Alfred
2 hours ago, honey moyal said: affinity file convert to PSD but font convert into JPG why? Because PSD is a proprietary (closed) format, and the Affinity developers don’t know how to export text as editable PSD text. 2 hours ago, honey moyal said: Hi, WaveF pls help.....! @WaveF has already told you how you can create a PSD file with editable text if you have Adobe Illustrator. John Rostron
I don't have Illustrator, but do have Photoshop CS5. I created s file in Designer comprising two independent lines of Artistic text, and saved it as a .pdf. I could open it in Photoshop CS5, but the text was rasterized. However if I opened the .pdf file in Corel Draw X7, then the text was editable text. But, the two lines of Artistic text had been combined into one frame. This does not help the OP, but others might find it interesting. John Quote Windows 10, Affinity Photo 1.10.5 Designer 1.10.5 and Publisher 1.10.5 (mainly Photo), now ex-Adobe CC CPU: AMD A6-3670.
