ronniemcbride
It be useful if I could click and drag across several layer check marks at once to turn multiple layers visibility off with a simple drag. Also it would be nice to be able to select several layers with a simple command click and then by unchecking one of them would turn off the visibility for all the the layers checked. Does that make sense? A_B_C 1 Quote LEARN AFFINITY DESIGNER TODAY. Staff MEB Posted December 3, 2014 Staff Share Posted December 3, 2014 Some programs do that and i agree, it's quite useful. Seems like a minor thing but after you try it it's hard to go back. Nice suggestion Ronnie ;) ronniemcbride 1 Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
Rusty
Thanks, that answered my question. I was just looking for a way to turn on and off more layers at once. I though by highlighting multiple layers then clicking show that would check all boxes! Maybe a check box next to the lock, so you could highlight the layers you want to turn on and off then select on or off to affect the highlighted layers!? Or "click and drag across several layers check marks" as Ronnie suggested would be great. Cheers

ronnyb
How about something like this? Some icon placement on the layers list might need to be tweaked, but you get the general idea... I've always disliked Adobe's use of palette controls at the bottom of the palette, SPECIALLY the layers palette, which is usually the tallest palette I have open, which means my most often used controlls are at the bottom edge of the screen, sometimes interfering with OS X's hidden dock... peter and MattP 2 Quote 2021 16” Macbook Pro w/ M1 Max 10c cpu /24c gpu, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Sonoma 14.4.1 2018 11" iPad Pro w/ A12X cpu/gpu, 256 GB, iPadOS
