Iztok Posted March 18 Posted March 18 The "Find" function lacks a "Delete" option, which would be useful for removing specific text from a document. Having a direct "Delete" button next to "Find" would streamline the process, eliminating the need for manual selection and deletion. Quote

You could simply Replace the found selection with nothing which has the same effect, i.e., Find 'more than ' (including the additional space) and Replace with nothing. PaulEC Posted March 18 Posted March 18 This is not a "bug" or new "issue" in the betas, at most it is a feature request! That is why they are two separate buttons. <Crude Sarcasm On> I guess the Replace button should be more accurately labeled Only Replace the Currently Selected and Highlighted Instance. <Crude Sarcasm Off> Would your "simple button delete" work on all instances or only the one that is currently selected? It would be necessary to add two buttons - Delete and Delete All 🙂 P.S. I don't know of a program that would add the universal Replace/Replace All function with the single-purpose Delete/Delete All functions.
