Hi @三石二シャ and welcome to the forums,

Based on your crash report, this sounds as though it is a known bug logged under AF-5978...

An issue raised in this thread ("Exporting to PDF when there is a 'Missing Dictionary for Language' Preflight Error Causes the App to Crash") has now been reported to the developers by the testing team (Ref: AF-5978). Thank you very much for reporting this issue to us.

Hi @PierMax,

Can you confirm the language shown in the Character Panel when selecting a text frame?

You shouldn't have issues saving so this may be a different issue. Can you upload a file where you see the crash on Save and Export so we can take a look?

Hi @PierMax,

Many thanks for confirming, in which case, the issue you're experiencing is a different one...

Can you upload a file that is crashing on save and export so we can take a look... there will likely be something in the file itself causing the crash...

Hi @PierMax,

I was wondering if you could upload the two physical files shown in your screenshots...

Your last screenshot with the green blocky segments suggests an issue with Hardware Acceleration. If you turn Hardware Acceleration off under the Affinity Photo Performance Settings (and reboot Photo), does that make any difference when opening, saving and exporting the files or do you still see the same issues?

The other thing to check is that all your Graphic GPU Drivers are completely up to date. This has been known to cause issues when they are not fully up to date...

The title bar in your screenshot says “(Not Responding)”. That’s hanging, not crashing.

I understand now, thanks. Are you able to follow up on @Hangman’s suggestion?

London2.afphotoThe software crashes with all .afphoto photo files, this started happening with the use of assets but at the same time with the latest NVIDIA driver update, because I remember this was before the 2.6 update... and it already had the problem so I'm not sure where exactly the problem comes from.

Affinity 2.6 has crashed my PC again - 3rd time. It's when I go to export an image to jpg. The computer completely hangs and I have to do a hard reboot (use the switch on the computer). I didn't have this problem with any early versions. Windows 11  24H2, i5-13400F   2.50 GHz, 32GB.

The file opens for me too, but after making changes and having previously saved it, it presents problems, the program closes or crashes, sometimes when exporting, other times when saving for the second time, it does this with almost all my photos, once the file is closed with the program blocked it does not open anymore and I have to resume my RAW file or a PSD that I had saved preventively.

And it's happened again! This isn't funny anymore.

I'm thinking that's where your problem is, not any of the Affinity apps.
