Bhikkhu Pesala Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 With two or more drawings open, Ctrl Tab does nothing. In Preferences, Keyboard Shortcuts, there is no Windows menu to set commands to do this. Alt W, Drawing Number, access key shortcuts are a workaround, but why don't the default shortcuts of Ctrl Tab and Ctrl Shift Tab switch document tabs? Staff Chris B Posted July 4, 2016 Staff Posted July 4, 2016 Hi Pesala, This is working by default for us. Any chance you may have changed something in your own settings that may have had a knock on effect for this? How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Bhikkhu Pesala Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 I changed the Shortcut for Toggle UI (Tab) to F4, but that does not make any difference if I remove the shortcut. Ctrl + Tab cannot be assigned to any command. AMD A10-6800K, with Radeon HD Graphics 4100 GHz 8 Gb on Windows 10 64-bit build 17763.316 • My Free OpenType Fonts
Mark Ingram Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 CTRL+Tab appears to be working for me to tab between documents.
pioneer Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 CTRL+Tab appears to be working for me to tab between documents. If it helps it is working for me also. AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X. Bhikkhu Pesala Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 Clearing all shortcuts and resetting them fixed it for me, but that doesn't answer the question of why it's not working. AMD A10-6800K, with Radeon HD Graphics 4100 GHz 8 Gb on Windows 10 64-bit build 17763.316 • My Free OpenType Fonts
Bhikkhu Pesala Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 I have attached my DrawPlus keyboard shortcuts file, which I saved before resetting my shortcuts. After loading this, the Ctrl Tab shortcut is broken again. DrawPlus.zip AMD A10-6800K, with Radeon HD Graphics 4100 GHz 8 Gb on Windows 10 64-bit build 17763.316 • My Free OpenType Fonts
Bhikkhu Pesala Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 I have recreated my shortcuts, and so far have not reproduced the problem. The prime suspect is the "Unhandled exception error" that one gets if one tries to save and overwrite an existing keyboard shortcut profile. Saving with a new name gets around that particular problem. Confirmed. Repeating the exercise by saving a Keyboard profile over an existing one, gave the error. Each file needed to be recovered on restarting, and the Ctrl Tab shortcut again stopped working, whichever saved shortcut profile I load. Bhikkhu Pesala Posted July 4, 2016 Author Posted July 4, 2016 It seems that I spoke too soon as the problem has cropped up again with my recreated shortcut profile. AMD A10-6800K, with Radeon HD Graphics 4100 GHz 8 Gb on Windows 10 64-bit build 17763.316 • My Free OpenType Fonts
Staff Chris B Posted July 5, 2016 Staff Posted July 5, 2016 I'll get the crash logged for now. Thanks. How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
Staff Sean P Posted July 5, 2016 Staff Posted July 5, 2016 It seems that I spoke too soon as the problem has cropped up again with my recreated shortcut profile. I've reproduced it from scratch. Simply adding a single keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Q to Exit) and restarting the application is enough to break it. I didn't need to save or load any profiles. Bhikkhu Pesala 1
