jgcloud
Hi, I opened up my Affinity Designer files on a different computer but I found them to display incorrectly. For example, the text have square blocks around them which is not what the original design was. I attached an example. Please help me to fix this issue. Any help is appreciated. - J
Pšenda
Square blocks indicate characters that are not available in the given font. You must have the same fonts and the same versions installed on all PCs. carl123
Most likely the font you used on the original computer is not installed on the other computer Just install that font if you can legally do so Or use a different font on the original computer Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. carl123
You may be able to change the font in the text style used by your text frames Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. jgcloud
To clarify, I would like to change a font throughout the whole project which is quite large. Is there a way mass replace text within a project in Affinity Designer 1? It would be very time consuming to go through each text one by one. NotMyFault
As explained earlier, this type of edits are much simpler in Publisher. If you used Text Styles during your design (which I would recommend) then all you have to do is update the Font in the Text Style, and all the text using that Text Style changes. That's the only way to make a global font change in Designer. It's also what I would recommend in Publisher, but in Publisher you can also do it easily using Find and Replace (or for some cases, the Font Manager).
