Gatada Posted August 2, 2023 Posted August 2, 2023 Would be nice if the Page Up and Page Down would work to navigate a Publisher document. Quote

Further to Return's screenshot I would add that the first thing I do is get rid of the Control or Command key and just use the Page up and Page down keys on their own. fde101 Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 In theory, the page up/page down keys should scroll by a screenful, while the versions with the shortcuts should switch pages. The screenful scrolling fails to work in the Affinity apps, however. _Th 1 Quote

I don't see it in the list of keyboard shortcuts which can be customized, so thinking it may rather be a missing feature. Either way it would be good to have those added. walt.farrell 1 Quote
Gatada Posted October 3, 2023 Author Posted October 3, 2023 Thanks for that screenshot. First and last page shortcuts though, does not accept the appropriate keys (ref screenshot), so was forced to add CMD. Quote

OlafP Posted May 31 Posted May 31 Still not working on MacOS as expected. I would prefer swithing to next / previous page by using "page up" / "page down" keys. That is one of the most needed keystrokes when editing a book layout. It is working when adiitionally pressing "command key", but would be better without. Keys for "first page" / "last page" are also not working. In "Preferences" I do not find a section to add those key reactions manually. Quote

Go to the Document menu in the Shortcuts section of the Publisher preferences. On my Mac I am so frustrated by the fact that the Home key needs a modifier in order for it to work. The other three keys, End, Page Up, and Page Down can work with or without a modifier key. The Home key works as expected in all other applications that can actually use it.
