Fehler beim Verkleinern von Bildern

Recommended Posts

Hallo.

@blackstone

When I Place an image in Publisher, that dialog shows the current scaling of the image, with respect to its full size. So, I might see that it is currently placed at 72% of its actual size.

If I then type 50% into the box, with Publisher 2.1.1, I get a new value of 35% (should be 36, but it's probably an effect of rounding). That is, 50% of the Placed size, not 50% of the original size.

Interestingly, if I then use Ctrl+Z or Edit > Undo, I get 50%.

I do not know if any of that is working as intended.

More interesting: If I Place the image, then click Original Size in that dialog, I see 100%. If I then type 50% in the box I get 25%, as @blackstone has mentioned.

Just curios: Does the slider work correctly? (click on the triangle)

Yes, the sliders seem to work correctly; just typed values become wrong.

Exactly what I am seeing. To make it more interesting: Type in 50% into the first field and hit the Tab key and not the Enter key. Using the Tab key you get the wanted scaling. Irritating.

Just curious again: When you cycle through the fields one round with Tab, does then Enter still change a currently correct value?

FWIW, it seems to be working as expected in the Mac versions -- no weird resize problems, so probably not working as intended in Windows.

Also, have you tried the same thing in the other V2 Windows Affinity apps & do you get the same as in APub or different?

Whatever I do, after typing in a value and hitting Enter gives the incorrect scaling.

@R C-R All Windows apps behave in the same wrong way.
