Main Window loses focus when using adjustments

Recommended Posts

This started a couple of updates ago and continues into v 2.1. .1730. It does not appear in the release version

If you load a graphic and then make an adjustment such as "Curves" and then try to make a (say) HSL adjustment, nothing happens. Now you must click the main window or layers panel before the HSL can be invoked

It’s not happening on the iPad version. Haven’t checked the Mac or Windows versions yet.

iPad Mini 6.  256GB. My GoTo design platform.

M2 Mac Mini. 24GB. LG 4K Monitor. + Samsung Monitor 2.

Windows 10 Toshiba. Windows 11 Parallels on Mac.

Publisher. Designer. Photo for Mac, PC & iOS. FCP, DaVinci, CapCut, Luma Fusion. etc.

Invoked how? Here on my Mac I can use the Menu item Layer >  New Adjustment Layer > ... or a Keyboard Shortcut or the little icon at the bottom of the Layers panel (and choose from its dropdown menu).

I am assuming you are using Photo.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.1 | Affinity Photo 2.4.1 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.1 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I cannot reproduce this either. Any chance of a screen recording?

It is only in the beta. A screen recording will not show much. Let me get on that for what it is worth 🙃
