NotMyFault Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Add a levels adjustment. make the histogram visible. adjust black and white level, individually per color channel, so the histogram stretches the whole area from left to right. add another levels adjustment. Adjust gamma per channel If you know the actual colors of certain onjects, use the info panel, set to hsl, to check if colors are numerically correct. skin tones around hue 30 +-15 add curves for additional fine tuning. NotMyFault Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 If using a digital camera to scan printed images, set the picture style (canon) to „neutral“ and deactivate any optimizations. Ensure a suitable light source, and check color temperature is set correctly. Take a test shot of white paper. Use RAW format, process in camera vendor RAW app, export as tiff/16. Lisbon Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Pro Contrast from the old Google Nik collection. Lately I've seen people fix colorcasts using sites/programs that do automatic colorization. Sometimes the results are good. 2 hours ago, Michail said: 2.) Colour Balance: Very interesting @Michail. There seems to be a linear relationship between the 3 points. h_d 1 Quote
RichardMH Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 One way in Photo is to duplicate the layer, apply an average blur to it, invert that layer and change the blend mode to Vivid light (or overlay) Quote
