thegary
This just started today. Very weird. Haven't changed my system. When i select my text and go to the text font window to change the font. I used to be able to type the name and it would show the font. It immediately crashes designer when I do this. If i click in the area where the font name is and delete the name, on the last character it will crashed the program. I now have to select the drop down menu and click the font for it to work. Any suggestions why this might happen or a fix? SimonGidney
This one hit me too today. It's very annoying and very repeatable. I know it's easy and probably correct to blame Microsoft for this one, but please reassure us that a fix will be included in a future update to Designer. Having the app crash is quite shocking these days. Surely a try/catch/warning/broken feature would be a simple safeguard to implement and a least worst option. Better still, a fix... I second this, I'd really love some word from up high by now. Doesn't need to be a fix, just a word that affinity is aware of the issue, and either are bringing it to the attention of microsoft or are fixing it themselves. Because right now my base assumption would be that neither microsoft nor affinity are aware of this let alone in the process of fixing. MartinMHC
This exact same issue occurs to me on all Affinity products v1.10.5 minimum. Is there a scope that Affinity can release a patch for this as it seems to be that the OS updates that cause this are increasing....
